Lately, I have been quoting Michael Tamura’s book You Are the Answer quite often, which in itself is a sign that this is a book I genuinely believe is worth reading. Now I would like to add a few more words about it, in order to include it in my “Recommended Books” category.
I am aware that books are like friends – our relationship with them is very personal, and there are no guarantees that a given book will resonate with us or not. For me personally, this book turned out to be a friend. Like a skilled master of assembling puzzles, Michael Tamura offered me keys to questions whose answers I had been seeking for a long time – and he explained them with the ease of a snap of the fingers, in a clear and even amusing way.
Since the author of this book is a clairvoyant and a healer, you will find accounts of miracles in it. What is more important for me, however, is something else – this book is written with great wisdom, love, and humility, and this is what attracted me to it most.
I could write much more about this book, but instead I will include links to the articles in which I have already presented parts of it – “Affirming the Spirit,” “When Does Healing Begin,” and “Neutrality” – and there will be more to come. Its subtitle is Revealing and Fulfilling the Purpose of Your Soul, and it truly succeeds in doing exactly that – it reveals that behind the outer purpose of realizing the gifts we have come into this world with, there stands another, much more essential one: to realize our potential as spiritual beings.
“In the larger picture of life, the purpose is the question and you are the answer. You answer the call of your purpose not by what you do, but by what you become. You answer because you are the answer.” (p. 110)
