“Often on Earth the creative process is a struggle. You usually encounter much resistance in turning your dreams into reality. Mental creativity in the astral world is much easier. There is no difference in time between the idea and the actual realisation. Moreover, you can create any reality you wish and that you can imagine. There are no limitations. The moment you imagine a beautiful garden, you can already enter it.
To ‘give birth’ to an idea on Earth and make it real in the material world is a great effort.
It requires firm intention, perseverance, clarity of mind and a believing heart. On Earth you have to deal with the stubbornness and resistance of the material world. You have to overcome contradictory impulses within yourself, struggle with doubt, despair, lack of knowledge, loss of faith, and so on. The creative process can be hindered, even collapse because of any of these elements.
But it is precisely these potential problems and even defeats that are the reasons which make life on Earth so valuable. In this process, the obstacles are the most valuable teachers.
They give the earthly experience far greater depth and breadth than the lack of effort in the astral world does. Ease gives rise to low value (we shall return to this question again below). Astral beings who have no earthly experience know and understand this very well.
You are often discouraged and even desperate because of your sluggishly moving reality. Very often your reality does not correspond to your desires and hopes. Very often the creative process ends in disappointment and pain.
However, in this you discover the key to peace and happiness. You find the key in your heart. And the joy that embraces you is incomparable to anything created on the astral levels.
This is the birth of your mastery, of your divinity.”
