“A father and a son acquired a horse. The next day, they set off to travel through the village. The father said:

On the third day, both of them got on the horse. The villagers said: — These people have no mercy; they’ll kill the poor beast!
On the fourth day, both set off on foot, leading the horse. And the villagers: — Hahaha, look at those fools! They have a horse, and they walk! Hahaha…
The next day, out of worry about what they would do next, the horse died.
And the father said to his son: — Do you see, son? If you listen to what people say, you’ll end up like the horse!”
