Avoid paralysis at all costs

Fears are nothing more than states of mind.

Napoleon Hill said that, and he was right. The moment you feel that you are afraid of something, ask yourself, ‘Why am I making this real? What is it inside of me that is making me do this?’ There is a huge difference between fear and caution. Caution moves you forward with care, while fear stops you; it paralyzes you.

Avoid paralysis at all costs. It is not good for the soul—it leads nowhere.”

Neale Donald Walsch

Fear is that state in which we inwardly shrink and withdraw because the world outside and the people in it seem too dangerous. It is difficult for us to take a step into the new and the unknown; we are inwardly paralyzed. Nevertheless, as Walsch writes, it is good to take that step. It will help if we differentiate between caution and irrational fear.

Today is a day for you to be bold.
