Osho: God is Togetherness

Osho:

“In my view, God is here-and-now. Everything you see is God. God is not something beyond; God is something within.

Never before in the history of humanity has man been as frightened as he is now…

If there is no God, then existence becomes hostile. Not that it has actually become hostile, but it appears so to you.

If there is no God, love disappears; if there is no God, the sense of being at home disappears.

God is simply a symbolic word. It simply signifies a position: the stance that ‘I am at home.’

Religion is personal. The whole effort is to look at life as if it were a family. The tree, no matter how distant, is connected to you; it is your relative. And the rock too… and the oceans too… and the moon and the stars. Everything is connected to everything else; you exist in an interconnected family…

Life is togetherness, and this togetherness is God.”
