\u201cI can find only three kinds of business<\/b> in the universe: mine, yours, and God\u2019s.<\/p>\n

(For me, the word God means \u201creality.\u201d Reality is God, because it rules. Anything that\u2019s out of my control, your control, and everyone else\u2019s control\u2014I call that God\u2019s business.)<\/p>\n

Much of our stress comes from mentally living out of our own business. When I think, \u2018You need to get a job, I want you to be happy, you should be on time, you need to take better care of yourself,\u2019<\/i> I am in your business<\/b>. When I\u2019m worried about earthquakes, floods, war, or when I will die, I am in God\u2019s business<\/b>.<\/p>\n

If I am mentally in your business or in God\u2019s business, the effect is separation<\/b>. I realized that every time in my life that I had felt hurt or lonely, I had been in someone else\u2019s business. Being mentally in your business keeps me from being present in my own. I am separate from myself, wondering why my life doesn\u2019t work.<\/p>\n

To think that I know what\u2019s best for anyone else is pure arrogance, and the result is tension, anxiety, and fear. <\/span>Do I know what\u2019s right for myself?
