Your true being cannot have been created by you; it cannot have been made by man. You brought it with you; you are it. How could you have created it? In order to create it, you would first have had to be there already. This is the meaning that Christians, Mohammedans, Hindus place into the statement that man is a creation. It means that man has not created himself\u2014that is all.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Creator is hidden somewhere in the unknown. We have emerged from some mysterious life force. Your self is not yours! This false self is not yours, because you have created it; your true self is also not yours, because it is still in God\u2014your roots are still in God.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
