This is the commentary Liz Greene offers in her analysis of the birth chart of a woman who, throughout her life, has found herself in disappointing relationships with men who leave her emotional needs unfulfilled. Greene adds:<\/p>\n
\n“She is a fixed sign; therefore, she lacks flexibility and the ability to bend under the pressure of the wind. Her vision of life is intensely romantic, and when she wants something, Barbara wants it very, very badly; she will not take kindly to being thwarted… The qualities she needs to develop come to her in the form of restrictive situations and disinterested people who leave her emotional needs unfulfilled.”<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
In this case, Barbara’s character attracts certain life events which, due to their nature being beyond subjective control, we might call Destiny<\/b>. For me, it is particularly interesting to examine the interconnection between these two, because we usually see one or the other; yet only in recognizing the link between them can we decipher the thread of our own lives.<\/p>\n
In this way, we can discover the meaning of our life circumstances by searching for the qualities our soul has chosen to develop through them. Conversely, as we look at the things happening in our lives, we can understand what we need to change in our character. It then becomes remarkably clear that the events of the outer world, which we call Destiny, are the true creators of our character.<\/p>\n
