One cannot overcome the fears and illusions of your reality with the help of love and compassion alone. These fundamental, predominantly feminine qualities must be complemented by the masculine characteristics of clarity and discernment.<\/em><\/p>\n

Compassion allows you to perceive the core of light in every manifestation of duality\u2014for example, to see the light in someone\u2019s soul even when that person is filled with negativity. Discernment, however, alerts you to the presence of fear and power-related energies in any such manifestation, allowing you to distance yourself from it by releasing it from your energetic field.<\/em><\/p>\n

To understand who you truly are, you must release what you are not, and it is precisely discernment that helps you do this. Discernment is the ‘power of the sword,’ the energy that helps you define your own boundaries and find your own path.
