And because there is only one mind, we are all communicating telepathically all the time. Every time we choose whether to join or to separate, the person we\u2019re talking to feels our choice regardless of our words. When we choose to join, we open the door to communication because that is the key to mutuality. The purpose of a conversation is not to pursue our own goal, but to find that pure state from which to send our message. We do not seek to join through our words; we accept that we are joined with the other before we even speak. This understanding in itself is a miracle.” <\/em><\/p>\n

I have countless examples from my personal and professional experience that show me how well we can lie to ourselves and believe in the truth of the words we utter. We can say we are giving the other person freedom, while our heart clenches at the idea of them doing things we don’t want them to do. We can tell our partner we have forgiven them, but deep in our heart, accusation, anger, or distrust still remain.<\/p>\n

The ability to communicate with the right attitude and from a space of inner integrity is vital for fulfilling human relationships. <\/strong><\/p>\n
